The Torah Commands: “You Shall Not Oppress A Stranger” And “You Shall Love Him As Yourself” (Leviticus 19:33–34). It Also Says: “Learn To Do Good; Seek Justice; Correct Oppression” (Isaiah 1:17).
How Can Attacks By Settlers, Including Violence Against Palestinians With Guns And Dogs, Be Reconciled With These Sacred Teachings?
Palestinians Have The Right To Live In Freedom, Safety And Dignity And To Resist Oppression And Defend Themselves Against Terror And Mass Killing. But Attacks On Civilians Must Never Be Justified, Whoever Commits Them.
Israel’s Far-Right Government Must End The Occupation And Settler Violence. Ed Miliband Has Declared The Entire Occupation Unlawful And Condemned “Settler Terrorists,” While Warning That October 7 Cannot Justify What Has Happened In Gaza.
