Trump’s collusion in Israeli elections 4-18-2019
18, April 2019 Trump’s collusion in Israeli elections
While the jury is still out on possible Trump-Russian collusion in the 2016 US election, President Trump has brazenly colluded in Israel’s elections - declaring Jerusalem Israel’s capital, granting Israel sovereignty over the Golan Heights and then following up declaring the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist group exposing US troops to unnecessary conflicts with Iran. The wily Netanyahu capitalized on his close friendship with Trump to edge out his rival Gantz in the recent Israeli elections. The International Criminal Court judges were banned from the US lest they expose US and Israeli war crimes. In an effort to sanitize Israel’s ‘apartheid” image, the word “occupation” has been removed from the State Department’s assessments of human rights infringements on the West Bank. To further punish the Palestinians, the US eliminated relief funding for Palestinian refugees, and declared its intention of leaving the U.N. Human Rights Council because it was too critical of Israel. Washington ignored terrorist attacks by the Israeli military bombing of hospitals, schools and the water treatment infrastructure in Gaza while army snipers were shooting unarmed demonstrators demanding their freedom. Next month, the US will begin enforcing worldwide sanctions on all Iranian oil sales intensifying hardships on the people of Iran. Buoyed by US media silence of its many transgressions, Netanyahu announced plans to annex parts of the West Bank. In a quid pro quo, Trump will expect US Jewish voters to reward him in the 2020 election. Jewish Americans should dispel lingering doubts of their allegiance and rising acts of anti-Semitism by speaking out forcefully when U.S. and Israeli interests collide. As a first step we should redirect the $3.5B given to Israel annually to Americans mired in food and job insecurity, and homelessness.

Trump and his friend, General Sisi of Egypt 4-15-2019
15, April 2019 Trump and his friend, General Sisi of Egypt
President Trump seems infatuated with
some of the world’s most brutal dictators Putin, Duterte, Kim Jong Un. .). He recently hosted a meeting with Egypt’s
ruthless dictator, President Sisi who is hoping to amend the constitution to
allow him to stay in power until 2034. Sisi received an effusive welcome from
President Trump who gushed that “he’s doing a great
job.” According to human rights groups, that “great job” includes jailing
50,000 to 60,000 dissidents since the 2013 coup against Egypt's first democratically elected president, Mohamed Morsi.
A reign of terror has engulfed the
country with executions, enforced disappearances, sham elections and a tightly
controlled media.
Sadly, the repression is expected to rise
to a new level of barbarity with the country descending into a police state
fueled by Sisi’s close alliance with President Trump whose fondness for
strongmen is well known.
Egypt had hoped that eight years of
“generation protest” would usher in true democracy but that is being called
“generation jail” by Amnesty International. Sarah Margon of Human Rights Watch
added 'We're looking at
the worst human rights crisis Egypt has seen in decades.' And the US continues
to provide $1.6B annually to ensure the repression continues.

Major security lapses in the WH 4-7-2019
7, April 2019 Major security lapses in the WH
Whistleblower Tricia Newbold revealed explosive revelations that senior Trump officials overturned at least 25 security clearances despite, “serious disqualifying issues.” Newbold, who works at the White House Personnel Security Office, told the House Oversight and Reform Committee the targeted individuals had been flagged by her office due to concerns about either blackmail, conflicts of interests, criminal conduct or foreign influence. The vengeful White House retaliated by suspending Newbold for 14-days without pay and hid critical files.
President Trump overruled such concerns by granting his inner circle, including Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, security clearances allowing them to conduct their private and public activities unimpeded by US intelligence.
Earlier this year, President Trump
pressured his former chief of staff, General John Kelly, to grant clearances
for his daughter Ivanka Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner, both senior
advisers, ignoring the objections of intelligence officials. Newbold included
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in her list of high risk individuals who were
flagged as having serious foreign business entanglements. The American public
needs to know why career officials were overruled and these security clearances
granted. Trump supporters, “if you read this letter I urge you to express your
outrage and love of country by dumping your MEGA hats”. We can no longer
tolerate this blatant nepotism – demand the removal of Ivanka and Jared from
the White House and immediately revoke security clearances of the remaining 23
individuals.
Tricia Newbold I solute you for your
incredible courage, fortitude and high ethical standards!

The Mueller Report 4-3-2019
3, April 2019 The Mueller Report
While the Mueller Report might have temporarily faded from the public consciousness, Democratic lawmakers are demanding release of the full un-redacted report.
It is absurd to dismiss the numerous contacts that the Trump family had with the Russians so easily. It seems unlikely that they acted independently of President Trump. His open invitation to the Russians to hack into Clinton’s private emails was surely an open invitation for Russian meddling.
Why did Jared Kushner establish a back channel to communicate secretly with the Russians at the Russian Embassy to escape scrutiny by the F.B.I? Why did Eric Jnr express such excitement when he was told the Russians had “dirt” on Hillary Clinton instead of calling the FBI?
Why did Trump’s former national security advisor attempt to gut U.S. sanctions on Russia?
Why did President
Trump accept Vladimir Putin’s denials that Russia had not meddled in the 2016
election in defiance of his intelligence agencies? Why did he exhibit such
warmth and affection for the wily Russian leader and why did he destroy the
interpreter’s translation transcripts of his meeting with Putin. Why did he
dismiss his staff during his private meeting with Putin?
It hard to understand how the guilt-ridden Republicans continue to follow their leader when there is a high probability that Trump and members of his family may have committed treason. There is little doubt that Russia will grow even bolder in its efforts to destabilize western democracies, including the United States.
