                       U.S. Support for Israeli Terrorism in Lebanon Sows Long-Lasting Hatred

The recent reports of mass terror unleashed by Israeli forces in Lebanon, allegedly backed by the U.S., are deeply disturbing. Explosions rigged into civilian electronics—pagers and walkie-talkies—have killed dozens and injured thousands, in a campaign targeting funerals, hospitals, and markets. The Lebanese people are enduring indescribable horror as victims of this ruthless assault, with hospitals overwhelmed by severe injuries such as amputations, ruptured eyes, and shattered bones.
This violence, waged under the guise of targeting Hezbollah, has instead indiscriminately slaughtered civilians and healthcare workers alike. Despite Hezbollah’s political role in Lebanon, the reality is that these brutal actions have swept through civilian areas, proving that Israel’s focus is not on selective strikes, but on widespread terror.
The U.S.'s unwavering support for Israel only fuels this aggression. By backing these assaults, President Biden and Vice President Harris are planting the seeds of hatred and instability that will last for generations. Their silence on the suffering of the Lebanese people and continued military support for Israel is a moral failing of the highest order. America must demand accountability for these war crimes, or risk complicity in perpetuating decades of violence and instability in the Middle East.
It’s time for the U.S. to stand for peace, not war crimes.
