Why is America helping Putin finance his war by buying Russian Diesel? This is outrageous—a betrayal of Ukraine, our European allies, and the democratic values America claims to defend.
While Russian missiles kill Ukrainian civilians and children, President Trump attacks Volodymyr Zelensky and opens American markets to Russian fuel, potentially helping fund Putin’s war machine. Instead of pressuring the aggressor to end his invasion, Trump rewards Russia and humiliates its victim.
Ukraine has the right to defend itself, and its people alone have the right to choose their president. Trump has no right to dictate Ukraine’s leadership while making concessions to Putin, who shows little interest in genuine peace.
Europe’s security is inseparable from Ukraine’s freedom. Undermining Kyiv weakens our European allies and emboldens Russian aggression across the continent.
America must stop rewarding Putin, restore pressure on Moscow, and stand firmly with Ukraine and Europe. Peace cannot be purchased by financing the aggressor or betraying our allies.
