A.I. companies must not be allowed to hide behind the excuse that their products are unpredictable. They design these systems, profit from them, and have a duty to protect the public. Uncertainty is not immunity. If their products cause harm, the companies must answer for the consequences. Governments must impose strict safety standards, independent audits, transparency, and meaningful penalties. Innovation without accountability is a danger to society. No company should be permitted to claim the rewards of powerful technology while shifting the risks onto ordinary people. Profit must never become a license to escape responsibility.
