Germany Must Defend Freedom Of Speech And Human Rights - 10.1.2026

Germany’s History Gives It A Special Responsibility To Oppose Antisemitism And Protect Human Rights — Not To Silence Peaceful Voices Speaking For Palestinian Rights.

The Case Of The “Berlin Four” Raises A Profound Question: Can A Democracy Claim To Defend Freedom While Using Immigration Powers, Police Pressure And Other Measures Against People Who Protest Israel’s Policies And The Suffering Of Palestinians?

Lawyer Alexander Gorski Has Warned That Germany’s Policy Of Staatsräson Has Contributed To A Climate In Which Palestine Advocacy Can Be Treated As A Threat. The “Berlin Four” — Three European Citizens And One U.S. Citizen — Faced Deportation Proceedings After A Pro-Palestine University Protest.

Germany’s Responsibility For The Holocaust Must Never Be Used To Silence Opposition To The Actions Of Any Government. “Never Again” Must Mean Never Again — For Jews, Palestinians, Or Anyone Else.

Freedom Of Speech, Peaceful Protest And The Right To Challenge Government Policy Are Fundamental Democratic Principles.

Germany Should Defend These Rights Consistently, Protect Peaceful Protesters From Discrimination, And Demand Accountability For Violations Of International Human Rights Law — Whoever Commits Them.

History Should Teach The World To Protect Human Dignity, Not To Abandon It.

105 Palestinians In Gaza Must Not Be Forgotten - 10.1.2026

The World Must Not Turn Away From The 105 Palestinians Whose Remains Were Recovered From The Rubble In Gaza And Buried Today — Nearly Three Years After Their Lives Were Destroyed.

Among Them Were 60 Children.

These Were Not Numbers. They Were Human Beings — Children, Parents, Brothers, Sisters And Families Who Deserved To Live.

The World Must Remember Netanyahu’s Own Words. On February 18, 2024, He Vowed To “Finish The Job” In Gaza. On June 18, 2024, He Said, “Give Us The Tools And We’ll Finish The Job A Lot Faster.” On September 26, 2025, Before The United Nations, He Again Declared That Israel “Must Finish The Job” Against Hamas.

For Palestinian Families, “Finishing The Job” Has Meant Death, Destruction, Displacement And The Loss Of Entire Families.

Homes, Hospitals, Schools, Journalists And Civilian Life Have Been Devastated. The World Must Not Become Numb To Such Suffering.

Every Credible Allegation Of War Crimes And Other Violations Of International Law Must Be Investigated Independently. Those Found Criminally Responsible Must Face Justice Through Lawful Judicial Proceedings.

The 105 Palestinians Must Not Become Another Forgotten Number.

Every Human Life Has Equal Value.

Mahmoud Khalil And The Right To Stand For Justice - 10.1.2026

Mahmoud Khalil’s story raises a profound question for America: Can A country claim to defend freedom while punishing a person for speaking out for Palestinian rights?

Khalil spent 104 days in Immigration And Customs Enforcement detention after being targeted for his pro-Palestinian advocacy at Columbia University. He missed the birth of his first child and was separated from his wife, an American citizen. He says that, eighteen months after his arrest, the administration has never charged him with a crime or presented evidence that he committed one.

His struggle is bigger than one man. It concerns the right of students, immigrants and citizens to protest, speak and demand justice without fear of detention or deportation.

Khalil has now brought civil-rights lawsuits involving the U.S. Government and Columbia University. His case should compel America to examine whether political speech is being treated differently when the speaker is Palestinian and advocates for Palestinian rights.

No person should be denied a voice because of their identity or political beliefs. Democracy depends upon protecting dissent, defending due process and treating human beings with equal dignity.

A country that truly believes in freedom must protect the right to stand for justice—even when that speech is uncomfortable.
