AIPAC, And Palestinian Human Rights - 10.22.2026

The American Israel public affairs committee (AIPAC) should face greater scrutiny over its political spending and influence on American foreign policy. Its activities deserve a transparent public debate about whether its priorities serve American interests or advance the agenda of the Israeli government.

Aipac should disclose its funding, political activities, and foreign-policy objectives fully. If its activities meet the legal criteria for foreign-agent registration, the appropriate authorities should enforce those requirements.

American taxpayers are spending enormous sums on military assistance and supplying weapons to Israel while Palestinians in Gaza endure devastating destruction and suffering. Violence against Palestinians in the occupied west bank, including settler attacks and intimidation, also demands urgent action. Allegations of genocide must be addressed through independent investigations and lawful accountability.

The reported attack on a Washington post reporter raises another disturbing question: where is the outrage when journalists face violence while documenting events affecting Palestinian lives? Journalists must be protected, and attacks must be investigated regardless of the perpetrators’ identity.

The united states should not provide unconditional military support while serious allegations of international crimes remain unresolved. Congress must defend press freedom, protect Palestinian civilians, and demand accountability from every government and political organization. American democracy must serve the public interest, not powerful donors or foreign-governments.
