Israel perpetual conflict and increasing isolation? Israelis Must Choose A Secular Nation Or Theocracy - 10.17.2026

Israel Must Decide Whether It Will Be A Modern, Democratic, Secular Nation Or A Theocracy Governed By Religious Extremism. Democracy Requires Equal Rights, Freedom Of Religion, And Equal Protection For Every Citizen, Regardless Of Faith Or Ethnicity.

No Government Should Use Religion To Justify Discrimination, Permanent Occupation, Settler Violence, Or The Denial Of Palestinian Freedom. Jewish People, Like Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, And People Of All Faiths, Deserve Dignity, Security, And Equal Rights. Religious Belief Must Never Become An Excuse For Oppression.

A Secular Democracy Can Protect Jewish Religious Freedom While Respecting The Rights Of Muslim, Christian, And Other Communities. A Theocracy Risks Placing Religious Authority Above Democratic Accountability And Equal Citizenship.

Israelis Must Ask Themselves What Kind Of Future They Want For Their Children: A Society Built On Equality, Justice, And Peace, Or One Trapped In Endless Conflict By Religious Nationalism.

The United States And Other Nations Must Support Human Rights Consistently, Oppose Discrimination, And Demand Accountability For Violations Of International Law.

True Security Will Come Not From Religious Supremacy Or Military Dominance, But From Equality, Justice, Mutual Recognition, And Freedom For Both Israelis And Palestinians.
