Reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has mocked calls to end the bombing in Gaza are beyond disturbing. Every new round of airstrikes adds to the toll of over 100 more Palestinians civils killed, most of them children. Denying food, water, and medical supplies to a starving, trapped population is not defense—it is excessive cruelty.
All religious faiths teach compassion for the suffering and protection of the innocent. Yet the blockade continues, and hospitals and schools have become makeshift shelters for the wounded and displaced. This deliberate starvation mocks every moral and religious principle we claim to honor.World leaders must act now. No more shipments of offensive weapons should be sent to a government that defies international law and basic humanity. Border crossings must be opened immediately for massive deliveries of food, clean water, and medical supplies.
Silence in the face of this suffering is complicity. The world must demand an end to this barbarity.
