The world is on fire - 7.27.2026

The devastating megafires sweeping Europe and North America are another warning that climate change is no longer a distant threat but a deadly global emergency. Entire communities are being destroyed, forests are disappearing, air is becoming hazardous, and lives are being lost.

Scientists have warned for decades that burning fossil fuels would intensify heatwaves, droughts, and catastrophic wildfires. Yet many governments continue to expand oil, gas, and coal production while delaying meaningful climate action.

The cost of inaction is measured not only in billions of dollars but in human suffering, lost homes, damaged ecosystems, and an increasingly unstable future for our children and grandchildren.
