The image of $1 Trillion being tossed into a Garbage Can is a powerful symbol of America’s Fiscal Crisis. The Government is spending roughly $1 Trillion a year on Interest Payments while the National Debt has surpassed $40 Trillion.
Meanwhile, Americans—including many MAGA Supporters—are struggling with high Grocery Bills, expensive Housing and Gasoline. Empty Shopping Baskets have become a painful symbol of the economic pressure facing Families.
We should demand the highest Ethical Standards from our President and Members of Congress. No President should use the power of the Office, nonpublic Information or Government Decisions to enrich himself or his Family. No Member of Congress should use privileged Information for personal Financial Gain.
President DONALD TRUMP and Congress should face rigorous Transparency and independent Ethics Oversight. Any potential Conflicts of Interest must be fully investigated. The Public deserves to know whether Government Power is being used for Private Benefit.
Whether they are MAGA, Democrats, Republicans or Independents, Americans should be outraged when powerful People appear to play by different Rules.
With $40 Trillion in National Debt and roughly $1 Trillion a year going toward Interest, America cannot afford Corruption, Self-Dealing or a Government that puts Private Wealth ahead of the Public Interest.
We need Accountability, Transparency and One Set of Rules for Everyone.
