The documentary “NAZA” presents deeply disturbing allegations from Israeli intelligence officers and soldiers about the conduct of the war in Gaza.
According to the former personnel interviewed, Israeli forces allegedly used artificial-intelligence systems to help identify and prioritize targets, potentially turning vast amounts of personal information into decisions about who would be targeted. Some interviewees allege that civilians were knowingly placed at extraordinary risk and that homes and other civilian locations could be selected for attack based on intelligence assessments whose accuracy was uncertain.
The allegations also raise questions about whether the enormous civilian death toll in Gaza was an unavoidable consequence of war or the result of policies and targeting practices that placed insufficient value on Palestinian civilian life.
These are grave allegations. They should neither be automatically accepted nor dismissed. They deserve independent investigation, examination of the evidence, and accountability wherever violations of international law are established.
Every human life has equal value. Palestinian children and families deserve the same protection and dignity demanded for Israeli civilians.
Truth must never be silenced. When allegations concern the deliberate taking of human life, the world has a moral duty to ask questions, demand evidence, and seek justice.
