For Gaza to Recover, Hamas Must Be Expelled? - 9.7.2026

The claim that Gaza can recover simply by expelling Hamas ignores the central question: What Created This Catastrophe?

More than 1,700 Health Workers and 259 Journalists and Media Workers have been killed in Gaza, according to UN reporting. These Truth-Tellers and Caregivers paid with their lives while documenting and treating an unimaginable humanitarian disaster. (United Nations)

Israeli civilians have the Iron Dome. Palestinians are left exposed in shattered neighborhoods and makeshift Tents, struggling against Hunger, Disease, Rats and other dangers. No civilized world should accept such a disparity in the value placed on human life.

Hamas’s crimes must be condemned. But blaming Hamas alone conceals the deeper reality of Occupation, Displacement, Settlement Expansion and the military power of Israel and its Enablers, including governments that continue supplying Weapons.

Israel must open Gaza and the West Bank to Independent Foreign Reporters. International observers must also be permitted unrestricted access to Israeli Prisons, where Palestinian detainees have reported Beatings, Torture, Starvation and other abuses. (Committee to Protect Journalists)

The world cannot demand accountability while preventing independent eyes from seeing the evidence.

If Gaza is to recover, the root causes must be confronted—not merely the symptoms.
