Path to Peace with Israel and Palestine - 8.26.2026

In a time when despair dominates the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the partnership of Aziz Abu Sarah and Maoz Inon offers a powerful alternative: choosing reconciliation over revenge.

Abu Sarah, a Palestinian, and Inon, an Israeli Jew, have both experienced devastating personal loss. Yet instead of allowing grief to deepen hatred, they have joined together to promote dialogue, human dignity and a peaceful future for both peoples.

Their message deserves far more attention from political leaders and the public. Peace cannot be built by bombs, occupation, humiliation or collective punishment. It requires recognizing the humanity, rights and suffering of Palestinians and Israelis alike.

Their cooperation demonstrates that reconciliation is not weakness. It is an act of extraordinary courage. If two people who have suffered such profound losses can reject hatred and work together, governments and communities can do the same.

The world should amplify their message: security for Israelis and freedom, dignity and equal rights for Palestinians are not competing goals. They are the foundation of lasting peace.
